We do our best to prevent cross contamination of allergens, however due to the size of the food truck and the fact all food is prepared on site, we cannot guarantee each dish does not contain traces of an allergen. Any serious allergies please discuss with our chefs before ordering.
Who are we?
There’s 3 of us running the food truck. We all live here in Sax. Tan is from Thailand and has lived in Saxmundham for 17 years with husband Chris, son Alex and Millie the dog. Aof (pronounced Off) moved to Sax 3 years ago from Thailand with husband Robbie and daughters Cee and Leona. They are the owners and head chefs of the business. They have worked as chefs in Thailand, from large commercial kitchens to selling street food in Bangkok. Behind the scenes is local lad Robbie who grew up in Thorpeness. The Thai Saxmundham will be based permanently in Fromus Square.
Our philosophy is simple. We want to cook Thai food for you the same style as we like to eat ourselves. This is authentic Thai cooking. Flavour is everything for us. Everything is homemade in the truck. All Thai ingredients are imported. Each dish will be prepared to order, with big flavours and big heart. We hope you enjoy our food!
During the day we will cook a lunch menu of Thai Curry on Rice, Pad Thai and yummy starters. All prepared to order and ready to eat! During the evening, we will switch to a more traditional takeaway service for you to enjoy a variety of delicious Thai food at home.
